Triumph - Band Albuquerque Concert reviews
My first time seeing them live
I have been listening to the Band Triumph since I was a child. It is one of my favorite bands and I have been eager to witness their live performance for quite some time. Unfortunately, my schedule never seemed to allow for it. However, when the opportunity finally presented itself, I immediately seized it. True to my expectations, the show went beyond what I had imagined. The concert featured songs from all albums except Parachutes, with a flawless setlist that included many tracks from Xylo Myloto and A Head Full Of Dreams. I have attended numerous concerts, from Kanye West and Eric Church to Radiohead, and have even performed in a few myself as a musician, both with my band and other recording artists. Yet, this show stood out as the first one where every single person in the audience knew the lyrics to every song and sang along with Chris Martin, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere akin to a grand symphony. What captivated me the most about the performance was the infectious energy and chemistry among the band members, complemented by the synchronized pyrotechnics and color-changing XyloBands that matched each song perfectly. In between his energetic stage antics, Chris Martin took moments to interact with the crowd, whether by praising his bandmates, endorsing the Patriots for the upcoming Super Bowl, or playfully expressing his admiration for Tom Brady. Despite being interrupted by rain, the show remained consistently fantastic and full of energy.
